QotD: My First Single

Music-wise, what was the first 45, single or download you bought?

(was bored, so i decided to answer... LOL)

i think the first original music i bought was a Craig David cassette tape (his first album, "Born to Do It")

got it more than 5 years ago, when i finally was able to buy something for myself using my college allowance savings. coz it was only in college that i received allowance that was not "for transportation only" XDDD

the second was an Utada Hikaru Deep River cassette tape.

(oh my god was it just a bit over five years ago that cassette tapes were still being used more often? LOL)

i so so so love this one i wanted to have the cassette tape converted to CD...
unfortunately the tape was (i think) destroyed due to constant playing.. or might also be coz of the weather?? dunno.. x___x

now with Arashi (of course i will talk about Arashi, LOL)...

the very first Arashi merchandise i bought was  the AAA + in Dome LE.
i so so so LOVE it.
and i bought it with my paycheck.
it's so happy~ ^^

it's not funny. LOL.

something strange:

 

saw this post over at ayisse's... ok, at first i was super shocked.

coz hello, how many times has it been (here) that a jpop song has been mercilessly remade/covered?

so i figured out, "hey, they can also do that: not just us!"

but then again, i found out: it was originally English (Swedish) and was sold to JE and Arashi made their song with it. and then an Australian cover was made after that.

so technically, it's not really Arashi original.

if you think about it, it is very much feasible. since JE seems to have ties with Sweden (like with Seishun Amigo and TegoMassu).

 

and noooow...

*that* English/Swedish version (Agnes Carlsson's) has been playing on my head for some time now.

i must say~ that music/melody is really catchy.

even when in Japanese or English, it has a quite high retention...

tsk tsk. does this mean I LIKE the English version too?

i think so... x___x

i have been so busy with our Nino, Aiba, and, just recently, SHO...

holay shit. i actually flailed more than how Yamapi/Akira does when he's using the stairs.

more than that of Akira. and you must admit that Akira is kinda holay weird.

rest days, sutaato! ^^

ok, i have rest days starting today. *yipee!*

that would be whole Friday and Saturday and then Sunday morning.

 

i was so surprised at myself.

while on the bus going home i was super low tension.

as in low-tension-if-i-weren't-texting-i-would-have-slept-and-missed-my-stop-again-just-like-

yesterday.

but when i was getting ready to get off the bus i remembered i was carrying my imouto's music player with me.

i turned it on, and Osaka Obachan Rock filled my ears.

 
i actually forgot that i was sleepy.

 
and so i went on the tricycle. back ride, as usual. coz i don't usually ride "special". costs too much just for a 500-meter difference. plus, may exercise pa ako. XD ^^

while on it, Sukiyanen Osaka played and i was singing along. OUT LOUD. haha.

 
When i went off and was walking, i was still singing, and my tension went high.

When i was about a hundred meters away from home, LOVE SO SWEET played and i was like, *_________*

by the time i rang at the doorbell i was singing loud, and smiling so wide, and my tension was up!up!up!up! (takaku~ xD)

my mom even noticed:

"o, bakit ang saya mo?"

 
we~ell... *hihi*

"i got no shift later"

was the simplest explanation.

 
but i think she already understood it when i started singing WE CAN MAKE IT out loud.

aaand then after that i played all my Arashi on the computer, and i turned the volume up, too.

 

and i was happy. ♥

it's already 10:30 AM.

the sleep fairies are calling me now~ xDD
coz since yesterday morning, i've only had 2-3 hours' worth of sleep.
i''ve become so stubborn. LOL.
or rather, my system have become so stubborn - for some strange reason, it won't allow me to sleep once i reach home.

*ay suuuus. ang arteeeee~*

list of things i must do just so that i could sleep in the morning:
1. eat. a lot.
2. go online for 2-3 hours.
3. walk around and do something.
4. READ.

dunno why. it's so strange.
but tomorrow we will *finally* meet our coach.
aaand. he'll be monitoring us coz we're new.
*nerve-wracking*
so, i must be fully-charged (xD) so that i'll be more focused and won't make a mistake. hopefully.

i'm getting new glasses! i bought them yesterday and i'm gonna pick it up today. it's Mickey Mouse, LOLOL.

gah. very very tiring week: Tuesday, we went to work earlier, so i had less sleep, i think only about 4 hours. Wednesday i only slept for two hours and however hard i tried to go back to sleep, it didn't work. Thursday, Lory-chan and I met 4pm, so i also only had 2 hours' sleep. Friday, i had four-five hours' sleep but when i got home Saturday morning, i wasn't able to sleep coz we brought my little sister to SM North for her birthday. Maghapon kami sa SM so in short, more than 24 hours ako gising nung araw na iyon, haha. this is why ngayon, kagigising ko lang. ahahahaha ><;;

- GLASSES:
i almost always get to sleep with my glasses on. ewan ko ba, ang dali namang tanggalin ng salamin, pero nakakatulog parin ako nang may salamin. -___-' this is why i am afraid of using contact lenses... kasi baka maiwan din yun sa mata ko pag natulog~! scary! :P

**2nd**
- SHOES AND BAG:
i usually use only one pair of shoes. hindi ako bibili hanggang hindi nabubusabos erm, nasisira.. ^__^v kung meron man akong other pairs, it would have to be: 1. kinailangan for a special occasion. 2. ibinigay. and as of today, i still am using the same bag (backpack) i have been using since high school (more or less seven years ago). mahal na mahal ko yun - katabi ko nga matulog yon noon sa dorm eh. xDD

**3rd**
- i have many pairs of jeans (hindi naman maraming-marami, pero more than one is "many" diba? LOLOL) pero i only use some (four pairs ata). it goes the same way with t-shirts. kung saan lang ako comfortable, yun lang at yun ang isinusuot ko. madalas ko ngang marinig "ang dami mo palang damit" pero yun nga, hindi ko ginagamit lahat. meron nga akong ibang t-shirts - never been worn! ilang taon na yun dun sa closet... hahaha XDD

**4th**
- i really really REALLY love walking. xD kung pwedeng pwedeng lakarin, lalakarin ko. ^^ wala lang. masaya maglakad eh. nakaka-relax, for some strange reason. at marami kang mapapansin sa paligid-ligid pag naglalakad ka lang. ansaya. (^_-)b

**5th**
- College lang ako natutong kumain ng gulay, mai gahd! O_O! tinuruan ako nung roommate ko, nung mga panahong naghihirap na kami (mas mura ang gulay na ulam, noh!). LOL. dati nga sabi ni Mama, nung bata pa ako, kumakain ako ng spaghetti na WALANG SAUCE! kamusta ka naman?!?! ganon ako ka-mapili sa pagkain. buti nalang ngayon, i'd try out any food lalo na kung nasa mood ako. haha. kaso parang "ano naman ang lasa ng sinabawang gulay?!?! erm, no thanks, pass muna...." ahahahakjdsjgladal.

**6th**
- oh shoot. parang wala na akong mailagay ah. LOL.
  pet peeve ko yung may kumakanta nang mali-mali ang English lyrics. ewan ko ba. pero kasi diba if you really like the song, eeffort-an mo talaga na hanapin yung lyrics, para hindi naman nakakahiya sa kung sinong makakarinig.. atsaka respeto naman, sa nagsulat ng letra nung kanta.. diba? oy pero hindi ko naman tinatarayan or kino-correct, or whatever. naiirita lang ako, that's all. ang sama ko talaga~ wah.

**7th**
- iya! i can't swim. and i don't know how to ride a bicycle. oo. shyet nakakaasar. ><;;

**8th**
- i once lasted for THREE hours on the landline phone. haha. sinulit namin ng friend ko yung 10 pesos per call ng PLDT. she called me from Nueva Ecija. haha! anlakasssssss! LOL
